to join ‘Aom No.5’ to invest in mutual funds, as 'reliable close friends' who enhance Thais’ financial health by encouraging them to build long-term savings discipline

Bangkok Bank, BBLAM and BCAP are encouraging a new generation to build long-term savings discipline by starting with small but consistent savings through the ‘Aom No.5’ campaign. Customers only need to open a mutual fund account of 5,000 baht and invest monthly by subscribing to DCA of 500 baht or more for 12 months to get a free Starbucks e-Coupon worth 500 baht. Customers can open a fund account conveniently via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking or at any Bangkok Bank branch.

Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President and Manager of Consumer Product Development, Consumer Banking Miss Suyanee Puripanyawanich said Bangkok Bank as a 'reliable close friend', is committed to supporting Thais to have good financial health and long-term financial stability. The Bank has collaborated with Bualuang Asset Management Company Limited (BBLAM) and Bangkok Capital Asset Management (BCAP) and join the ‘Aom No.5’ campaign organized by the Association of Investment Management Companies (AIMC), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). This campaign aims to encourage people to start investing for the future, especially first jobbers and new investors, by making monthly investments or DCA (Dollar Cost Average) in which investors can choose funds according to their risk level.

“Bangkok Bank hopes that Thais have good financial health and long-term financial stability especially after retirement. Investing via mutual funds, especially DCA, is a good saving and investment tool for new investors, as well first jobbers. DCA allows funds deduction from customers’ deposit accounts to invest in a selected fund on a monthly basis, which does not require a large amount of investment but rather consistency. Investors can start saving through investment by participating in the ‘Aom No.5’ campaign where they can not only find good selections of funds but also receive special privileges from this campaign,” Miss Suyanee added.

Interested customers can open a mutual fund account for the first time via Bangkok Bank Mobile Banking or at any Bangkok Bank branch, and invest in the participating funds from 5,000 baht or more from September 5, 2023 – November 30, 2023. Customers also need to subscribe to DCA for 500 baht or more monthly (the first successful DCA from September 5, 2023 – December 29, 2023) and continue the DCA for 12 months by December 30, 2024 to get a free Starbucks e-Coupon worth 500 baht per person. This special privilege is only for new customers who have never had a mutual fund account with Bangkok Bank. The Bank and asset management companies’ terms and conditions apply.
