SFPD release sketches of scam suspects burberry
The San Francisco Police Department released six sketches of suspected con artists who specialize in preying upon Chinese women エルメス.
Police say several victims in the Sunset District have been conned out of at least $88,000 between them in cash and another $20,000 in jewelry throughout the past couple of months.
Some of the cases involved the sale of jade bracelets chanel, which supposedly bring good luck and fortune to the wearer. The victims handed over thousands of dollars for bracelets that were worth about $8 each.
In more recent incidents, the victims were alone when they were approached by three suspects, all Chinese females バーバリー ネクタイ, 40-46 years old, 5'2" and 5'5" tall, 130-135 pounds each, with black hair and speaking Cantonese.
Police say they defrauded their victims by taking advantage of "superstitious beliefs." Victims were told that they had "a ghost attached" to them and that they were "cursed," so they and their valuable property needed to be "purified."
The victims collected money and jewelry, then gave it all to one of the suspects エルメス バーキン, who put the money and jewelry into bags グッチ 長財布, before performing ritual ceremonies over the bags. Then the suspect appeared to give the bags back to the victims, while instructing the victims not to look in the bags or the "ritual" would not work.
They were also told not to tell anyone about this or the ghost would attach to the other person that they told グッチ 財布 メンズ.
When the victims did eventually look in the bags hermes, they only found old newspapers.
Police request anyone who is approached by any of these suspects to dial 911 バーバリー.
Members of the public are advised to not give money or valuables to strangers seeking to "purify" them, and also there is no such thing as a lucky jade bracelet, say police.
Police are hoping a member of the public will be able to identify them ポールスミス 財布.
