June 2010 Twins Multiples
Hi everyone ポールスミス バッグ,My twin girls are going to be 1 at the end of June. I am trying to startplanning their party but having a hard time coming up with themes. I am renting a room at a local independent living center close to my house. It is so nice. I wasthinking maybe stripes and polka dots??? Maybe just a pink sparkly 1st birthday stuff プラダ 財布. They had a cute stripe dot selection but the one I really liked was out of the balloon that matched and the big sparkly button for the girls. Didin't want to do thetypical taco bar or sloppy joes but I can't think of another main course that would be easy enough. Given in a cute way. But then I would have to get the pics taken early enough to make sure I got good ones and then to get them printed and stuff paul smith 財布.???
I want to enjoy the party as well. So, any ideas would be great.
We did spend a little more then I wanted to on all the decor but am super excited since my daughter loves our dog(that we had to get rid of). I am actually having two parties one in my hometown in Iowa and one here in Minnesota (my inlaws refuse to travel so I have to have two). We are going to do a BBQ hamburgers, brats, hotdogs, chips, salads and cake. We aren't going to do favors, hubby drew the line there. Since the girls don't really need anything I am telling people that we are buying the girls a swing set and if they would like to put in on that they are more then welcome otherwise we don't really need presents.
We're toying with a ladybug theme, but who knows what we'll end up with. I have to make it thru easter first!
I usually do a sandwich bar, with breads/rolls, different meats エルメス バーキン, cheeses, condiments and fixings. It's easy, relatively cheap, and easy to prep in advance on trays and just pull out. Also leftovers can go into ziplock bags for easy storage too.
I might make the cake myself this time. A ladybug should be easy enough. And maybe two cupcakes for the smash-cakes ポールスミス 店舗.
We always do it at our home though. Only family and close friends coming, so we'll manage. Maybe even have some of it outside!
Which reminds me, we have done burgers/dogs on the grill before too at my son's first birthday. It was in march and the weather here was gorgeous so it worked.
I'm doing a first birthday fairy theme for my girls' party. I went a little crazy and bought a ton of fairy decorations!
For food ポールスミス スーツ, I usually try to do something in the slow cooker シャネル 財布! I've done turkey/gravy sandwiches, italian beef sandwiches ヴィトン 公式, pulled pork sandwiches. Then you can just do chips/veggies/fruit for sides エルメス スカーフ. I also did lasangna once for my son's birthday. We aregrilling the brats up ahead of time and then just putting them in beer in the slow cooker the day of the party.
I'm not doing party favors-we are just having family. So sorry I can't be any help there. But I like the picture idea! Otherwise I know we have gotten M hershey kisses, etc at other parties. Normally we've gotten some kind of candy.

I got a bunch of stuff that says "1st Birthday" from Dollar General and then splurged on The Clone Wars for a Star Wars B/B twin party. I was going to use some plush Yoda and other characters for centerpieces. We already have those people gave us as gifts. Party favor bags are basic blue (Dollar General) with Plum Organics Puffs and Mum Mums (since all the kids are about 1 year old). We are also including bubbles in the party favor bags. I am stick on food, but I think cool meat and cheese trays for the parents with veggies and fruit. It is HOT in Texas, so I wanted something light. We are doing a 2 hour play day with 3 friends that day to keep it simple. Two weeks after their birthday, we are going to visit my in laws for a second party at the zoo. They are having 2 friends go to the zoo with them out of town. Keeping things small, but still including all family is hard ルイビトン.
