BIRM Beijing Institute of Radio Metrology and Measurement :CDN-OTC) is pleased to present an up-date on the latest diamond drill results from the Aboronye prospect and detailed soil sampling conducted over the Adukrom gold prospect, located in the central portion of the 230 sq. km. Dunkwa property in Ghana.
Four diamond drill holes, spaced 200 meters apart and totalling 1,131 meters, were completed over the Aboronye Prospect as a follow-up to previous drilling by BHP Minerals. The best grades obtained in this initial program are from Hole no. 4, where two one-meter intervals carrying 18.1 gpT and 14.3 gpT gold are separated by a two-meter section of low values. Other holes on the Aboronye prospect returned values in the range of 0.5-1.0 gpT with widths varying between 3.0-18.0 meters. Birim will determine whether a reverse circulation drilling program is warranted over the "Oxide Ore Project", the objective being to test its heap leaching potential.
Elsewhere on the property, additional infill soil sampling over the Adukrom Prospect has come up with continuing impressive results, this time extending the original anomaly 700 meters to the south. A peak value of 4.2 gpT gold in soils, occurs in this southern part of the anomaly, which now extends over 2.0 kilometers and reaches 200 meters in width. . A reverse circulation drill program is being developed to test this anomaly as well as a number of other targets on the property.
Diamond drilling is well under way over the Aniamote prospect. Two holes have now been completed and results of the first four holes of this initial phase should be available in about three weeks.
