Women unaware of ovarian cancer risks
Ovarian cancer awareness group Ovarian Cancer Australia has released research showing 66 per cent of Australian women do not know the most common risk factors are age and family history pandora beads.
The online survey of 1005 women found less than one per cent of women knew they needed to look for a family history of ovarian cancer on their father's side and only 42 per cent knew that a history on their mother's side put them at increased risk vivienne westwood.
Ovarian Cancer Australia chairwoman Paula Benson, who has survived ovarian cancer, says the results are a concern lululemon, given that more than 1200 Australian women will be diagnosed with the disease this year and 800 will die.
