Jackies fizz to pop Cork
Dublin turned on the charm last Saturday to overcome Cork and progress to the All-Ireland Minor Championship final,

Tyrone beat Mayo in the other semi-final, 1-14 to 1-12.
It was a tremendous all-round display from the Dubs. Every woman-Jackie played her part,

Dublin's blistering start to the second period sealed the lid. The opening period was even enough.
The semi-final was a repeat of last year's final in Birr which Cork won by 5-15 to 4-11.
Saturday saw another high-scoring, high-quality encounter from which the magnificent Metros emerged on the scoreline of 7-10 to 5-8.
The Dublin forwards had dubbin on the boots. Siobhan Woods was in sparkling form. It's little wonder she is on the county senior panel.
Lauren Ebbs also made a generous contribution.
That was no surprise. Against Louth in the Leinster Championship at O'Dwyer's in March, she scored five goals after coming off the bench,

And one of their biggest assets is their strength in depth. On Saturday, Dublin again moved the ball with purpose and polish. There was plenty of zest in their play.
Manager Fintan O'Curry heads a solid management six-pack that includes Dublin hero of '83, John Caffrey,

Dublin's electric pace saw them well in control for most of the journey. Late on, Cork staged a spirited rally, with Laura Crowley striking 3-1, but Dublin always had enough about them.
The All-Ireland final is a repeat of the 2008 August Bank Holiday Monday meeting of Dublin and Tyrone which the Dubs won in Breffni Park.
Dave Cullen headed up the Blue Armada on that historic afternoon which saw Dublin win the minor crown for the first time.
Dave's colleagues included his wife, Martina Farrell, one of the most accomplished footballers to have worn the county jersey. Also in the dugout was Dublin's Forever Friend, Anne O'Mahony and the experienced Frankie Byrne.
Dublin gave a most assured performance in front of the live TG4 cameras, and the player-of-the-match was Sinead Goldrick (pictured). Sinead hasn't lost the habit . that's for sure.
Several members of that 2008 squad now wear the senior shirt -- among them Sinead O'Mahony, Niamh McEvoy, Fiona Hudson, Natalia Hyland, Amy Ring and the galloping Goldrick. Many in the cultured class of 2012 will surely follow suit.
